Who We Are
Supply Link Corporation ("Supply Link", "we", "us") is an auto parts supplier based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. This policy covers our website at supplylink.shop and the internal software tools we operate to run our business, including invoicing, customer account statements, and inventory management.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate our business:
- Business records. Names, contact details, delivery addresses, orders, invoices, and payment history for the auto shops and businesses we serve.
- Website usage. Basic, privacy-friendly analytics about how visitors use our site (pages viewed, general region). We do not build advertising profiles.
- Accounting data via QuickBooks. With explicit authorization from the connected business, our internal tools access accounting records (invoices, customers, products and services, and payments) through Intuit's QuickBooks Online APIs.
How We Use QuickBooks Data
QuickBooks data is used solely to operate Supply Link's own business: displaying invoices and balances in our internal dashboard, reconciling customer accounts, preparing statements, and keeping inventory counts accurate. We do not sell QuickBooks data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for any purpose unrelated to Supply Link's operations. Authorization can be revoked at any time from the QuickBooks account's connected-apps settings, and we will delete synced accounting data on request.
How We Protect Information
All data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS and encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access credentials and API tokens are stored securely server-side and are never exposed in the browser. Access to business records is restricted to authorized Supply Link staff.
Service Providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to host our systems: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), and Intuit (QuickBooks). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.
Retention & Your Choices
We keep business and accounting records for as long as needed to operate and to meet Canadian tax and bookkeeping requirements. To ask what we hold about your business, request a correction, or request deletion of data we are not legally required to keep, contact us using the details below.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
